The Richmond International Raceway hosts two NASCAR Sprint Cup races and two NASCAR Nationwide Series races each year. The 0.75-mile racetrack has become a fan favorite over the years. Its biggest races are a 400-mile event held in May, and another 400-mile event held in September. The race in September is the final race before the Chase for the Championship commences. Some fans who attend this race prefer traveling with their campers, motorhomes and RVs to enjoy camping with NASCAR racing.
Reserved Lots
The Richmond International Raceway has reserved and unreserved camping lots. There is typically a lengthy waiting list to reserve a place on the campgrounds. You can check availability by visiting the Richmond International Raceway official website.
