Walking on a treadmill allows you to work out each day, regardless of the weather. A Weslo treadmill allows you to vary your workout by adjusting the speed and terrain as you walk in the comfort of your home. Proper maintenance is necessary to keep your treadmill in its best condition. Adjusting the walking belt on the Weslo treadmill is required in the event the belt shifts, slips or sticks.
Step 1
Unplug the treadmill.
Step 2
Look for the roller adjustment bolts located at the rear of the treadmill above the rear incline legs on each side of the walking belt.
Step 3
Insert an Allen wrench into one of the roller adjustment bolts and turn it 1/4 turn counterclockwise. Repeat this on the remaining roller adjustment bolt to adjust an over-tightened walking belt.
Step 4
Insert the Allen wrench into the left roller adjustment bolt and turn it 1/2 turn counterclockwise if the walking belt has shifted to the left. If the walking belt shifts to the right, turn the left adjustment bolt 1/2 turn clockwise.
Step 5
Turn both roller adjustment bolts 1/4 turn clockwise to tighten a walking belt that slips.
Step 6
Plug the treadmill back into the wall outlet.
