The iBike Aero Power Meter is a wireless computer that gives wind tunnel testing data to the competitive cyclist while out on training rides. All the information is downloadable to a PC or Mac.

Feedback

The iBike Aero gives cyclists the data they need without having to download any programs. Wattage, distance, time, speed and calories burned are all types of data feedback the iBike provides.

Exclusive Features

The iBike Aero has features not found with other power meters. These features include Snapshot CdA™, Time Advantage CdA™ and Continuous CdA™, all a measurement of aerodynamic drag effects. This information can help cyclists figure out the right power, equipment and position for optimal performance.

Compatibility

The ibike Aero comes standard compatible with indoor trainers but also with the Quarq Cinqo, the Power Tap Wireless ANT+SportTM and the SRM Wireless. It is also compatible with Garmin, Polar and Ergomo files to allow for power meter comparison including Continuous CdA and Time Advantage analysis. For use with the Garmin Edge, you will need to purchase the iBike GT firmware.

Other Information

The ibike Aero retails for $799 as of August 2010. It is available in black or white with a handle bar mount or, for an extra charge, you can get a high or low angle stem mount.
