Daily facial exercises can help to improve skin tone and reduce the appearance of sagging eyelid skin, says the Woman Junction health and beauty website. For maximum results, these exercises should be done in conjunction with a healthy diet and lifestyle--and always seek medical advice first if you have any conditions that affect your head or neck.

Eyelid Press

Place the tips of your index and middle fingers under your eyebrows, says the Saga health and lifestyle website for people over 50. Gently push your fingers up to lift your brows and eyelids and close your eyelids at the same time. You should feel resistance as you perform this movement. Hold for five seconds, open your eyes and release your fingers, then repeat two more times.

Eyebrow Raise

Start with your face relaxed, then raise your eyebrows and open your eyes as much as you can, says Woman Junction. Hold for up to five seconds, then relax and repeat up to 10 times. To make this movement as exaggerated as possible, imagine you have just received a big surprise. It might also help to look in a mirror when you perform this exercise, suggests Woman Junction.

Partial Eyelid Press

Start with a relaxed face, then lift your eyebrows but not as much as for the eyebrow raise. At the same time, close your eyelids halfway, keeping your brows raised as you do so, says the Dermaxime skincare website. This may be difficult to do at first, but that's a sign you're working the right muscles. Once your lids are partially closed, quickly open them as wide as you can, showing the whites of your eyes. Repeat this exercise five times.

Blinking With Resistance

The Dermaxime website says to place your index and middle fingertips on the outer edge of your eye sockets just between your temples and the corners of your eyes. Apply gentle pressure, then quickly open and close your eyes 10 times.
