The Mad River Adventure 14 Canoe is a 14-foot long entry level canoe designed for family canoeing. With a carry weight of 75 pounds and capacity of 875 pounds, the Adventure 14 model is shorter, wider and trades speed for maneuverability and stability.
Materials
The Adventure 14 is constructed of Royalex superlinear polyethylene. The hull is durable and comes with seats and backrests, cup holders and flat work surfaces molded into the hull.
Hull Shapes
The Adventure 14's multi-chine hull design helps improve the 14's tracking ability. The broad 38-inch beam improves stability. The extended decks, molded into the hull protect from spray and provide a place to stuff gear out of the direct sun.
Durabililty
The hull of the Adventure 14 is oven fired and multi-layered. The hull is very strong and resists damage by rocks, logs in the water or concrete and stone pilings.
