Virginia College is located in Huntsville, Birmingham and Montgomery. It offers two therapeutic massage programs. Montgomery
The Montgomery School of Bodywork and Massage Therapy offers part- and full-time classes on campus as well as online programs, so classes can be scheduled around your time. However, with the part-time online program you are required to attend classes two to three days week for the hands-on training. With the online weekend program you are required to attend class two weekends per month. At the Montgomery School of Bodywork and Massage military students are allowed to use their G.I. Bill aid, but only when taking classes at the campus.
North Alabama
The Massage Therapy Institute of Decatur curriculum is taught in day and evening classes. Students must complete 670 hours in the certification program. Sallie Mae education loans, State of Alabama WIA program and in-house financing are offered to eligible students. Enrollment is limited to provide quality training for all students.
Mobile
Fortis College provides students with the basic fundamentals of massage through lectures and hands-on instructions to prepare students to successfully enter the massage industry. Students will learn Swedish techniques, pathology, anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology. Upon completion of required courses they are prepared for the national certification examination.
