Facial Skin Tightening Exercises

Facial exercises strengthen and tone muscles and skin. The movement of the face while exercising also increases oxygen and blood flow, which can aid in a youthful appearance. The exercises take several minutes to perform, and to achieve visible results, should be performed daily. The exercises will eliminate wrinkles and sagging skin, and improve circulation.

Vertical Eye Line Diminsher

Pull the skin above the bridge of the nose, between the brows up. Add resistance by pushing down with the eyebrow muscles. Hold for 10 seconds and repeat three times. The exercise decreases the vertical lines often formed near the inner eyebrows.

Under-Eye Line Remover

Place your middle and ring fingers underneath each eye. Squint the eyes and release 10 times. Perform three sets. The exercise strengthens muscles under the eyes and reduces puffiness. Lines under the eyes are decreased.

Lion Face

Open mouth wide and stick out tongue, stretching the facial muscles. Clench hands shut. Slowly exhale through the nose, and slowly open palms of hands.

Blowfish

Fill cheeks full of air, stretching cheek muscles. Move air from one side of the cheek to other. Repeat until you must take a breath. The exercise strengthens and stretches cheek and other facial muscles.

All Smiles

Form a small smile; however, do not squint the eyes. Hold for three seconds and repeat.

Lip Plumper

Hold lips in a pout by pressing them firmly together. Try to smile. Slowly and steadily release a small stream of air from the lips. Hold lips for 10 seconds, then repeat the exercise three times.

Neck Strengthener

Stretch neck out by leaning your head forward but keeping your back straight. Use the bottom jaw to aid in stretching. Hold position for 10 seconds and release. Repeat three times, holding each pose for 10 seconds.
