The liver is one of the human body's vital internal organs. It is the primary tool used to filter toxins and general waste matter, preventing them from entering the bloodstream and causing health concerns. Furthermore, the liver works in close relation to other major organs such as the kidney and intestines. A liver that is full of accumulated waste may cause poisons to pollute many areas of the body. Fortunately, a DIY liver flush solution is both very effective and simple to put in place.

Step 1

Eat healthfully all the time. Stay away from food and drink that is manufactured using significant quantities of artificial preservatives and synthetic additives such as colorings, flavorings and sweeteners. These unwanted ingredients are always clearly listed on a product's label. Particularly, incorporate more organic fruits and vegetables into your diet and also add an increased amount of brown bread, as it is far richer in fiber than white or even whole-meal bread.

Step 2

Drink lots of fresh water. Do this on a continual basis, every day, without fail. Combining your increased intake of water with the juice of raw lemons is also advisable. The Metropolitan State College of Denver points out, "Regardless of which liver flush you use, I would make sure you include pure lemon juice in natural water."

Step 3

Take a milk thistle supplement daily. Do so on an empty stomach, as this promotes absorption of the herb's main active constituent, silymarin. They are available from specialist health suppliers and in large supermarkets. According to The University of Michigan, "Milk thistle extract may protect the cells of the liver by blocking the entrance of harmful toxins and helping remove these toxins from the liver cells."

Step 4

Consume alcohol in moderation. If realistically possible, refrain from drinking alcoholic beverages altogether. The liver prioritizes filtering these compounds and doing so allocates much of its resources. Furthermore, alcohol is the cause of dehydration in a lot of people and water is absolutely critical for efficient liver flushing.

Step 5

Visit the bathroom more regularly. Attempt to remove feces twice a day, even if you do not really feel that it is the right time. For your liver to be totally flushed of the toxic build-up that is lodged there, it is imperative that you allow your body ample opportunity to eliminate the waste matter. Going to the toilet is by far the dominant way to achieve this.
