Join a Scuba Diving Class
One of the most enjoyable activities to do in Orlando is scuba diving, but in order to go under the water, you will need to go through diving training first. The Dive Station is the only dive center in Orlando with an on-site pool. At the Dive Station, professional divers and instructors provide classes for the recreational or technical divers. Not only will you be able to meet other singles in class who are interested in learning how to dive but you will be able to see what it feels like to go underwater---a very unique experience.
Explore the Water Park
Among sister parks SeaWorld and Discovery Cove, Aquatica is an attraction water park in Orlando that recreates the beautiful ocean landscapes found in New Zealand, Australia and New Guinea. There are 36 water slides, each with their own unique, exciting style. One of the signature rider slides, Dolphin Plunge, plunges riders beneath the sea in clear tubes where guests can witness black-and-white Commerson's dolphins. Among the exciting rides at Acquatica, singles can also enjoy dining in different restaurants, shopping and hanging out on more than 80,000 square feet of beach area.
Chill at the Beach
When you think of Florida, you think of the nice beaches. One social environment for singles is Cocoa Beach, about an hour's drive away from the Orlando area. There are many activities you can do here such as surfing, swimming, playing volleyball, shopping at the stores like Ron Jon Surf Shop or the Cocoa Beach Surf company and eating at the restaurants like at Bernard's Surf or Heidelberg German Restaurant. If you're in a mellow mood, you can listen to cool jazz music that is played at least one evening a week at Heidi's Jazz Club, located close to the beach, or you can just lie on the sand, enjoy the sunny weather and listen to the waves.
