Aquarium
The Downtown Aquarium is a complex that spans six acres and includes water and land animal displays, geographic exhibits, a ballroom and a restaurant. The Houston Zoo includes more than 4,500 animals. If you plan your trip, you can choose a Meet the Keeper tour and get more information about the animals from the keepers as they work with the animals. Houston Outdoor Adventures
Buffalo Bayou Park is located about 30 miles outside downtown Houston although bayou depositing streams are found in many subdivisions of Houston.
