Thanks to warm weather for most of the year, plenty of outdoor fun like miniature golf courses can be found in both Greenville and in the neighboring towns of Spartanburg and Simpsonville. Mini-golf offerings range from indoor courses to outdoor courses that are featured as part of the Greenville park system. Mini-golf in Greenville offers a chance to enjoy the weather while engaging in a physical activity that you can enjoy alone or with the kids.
Tropical Theme Mini-Golf
Frankie's Fun Park offers three uniquely miniature golf courses, all with a tropical theme. Each miniature golf course has 18 holes. You can play one 18-hole round of golf for $6, as of August 2010. Ages 3 and under play golf free when accompanied by an adult who has paid full admission.
Indoor Mini-Golf
Fall's Park offers the only indoor miniature golf course in Greenville. Eighteen holes of golfing fun are included, with traditional mini-golf obstacles and a golf cart for extra fun. As of August 2010, admission for adults is $6 per person. Seniors over age 65 and college students with a valid college ID card receive $4 admission. Children under age 5 are admitted for half price, $3.
Spartanburg Mini-Golf
Blessed Fun Funtasia is located in the town of Spartanburg, about 25 miles from Greenville. Blessed Fun offers an 18-hole miniature golf course that is situated nearby the bumper boat and go-kart attractions. Admission is $5 for adults and children, as of August 2010.
Simpsonville Mini-Golf
Golden Park is located in the town of Simpsonville, about 10 miles outside of Greenville. Four different miniature golf courses are available for visitors, each composed of 18 holes. The lushly landscaped mini-golf courses offer mildly challenging obstacles that can be enjoyed by both kids and adults. Admission prices, as of August 2010, are $6 for adults, while children under age 5 play for free.
City Park Mini-Golf
McPherson Park is an outdoor park spanning 12.5 acres, hosting a variety of walking trails that incorporate a small miniature golf course. The nine holes of miniature golf do not feature cartoon characters or whimsical obstacles, but rather play up the natural beauty of the surrounding park.
