Mavala is a Swiss company that has produced cosmetics and skin care products since 1958. As of 2010, Mavala has four subsidiaries in England, France, Germany and the United States and sells its products through more than 100 approved distributors around the world. The products continue to be made in Switzerland.

Mavala's line of eye products includes an eyelash curler and eye pencil sharpener, as well as skin care products such as eye makeup remover pads, gel and lotion; a nutritive product for lashes; an under-makeup eye base gel; a moisturizing gel; and a revitalizing eye cream.
Product Use
The cream, called Eye Contour Double Cream, is intended to moisturize the skin under the eyes to help prevent wrinkles. To use it, first remove all traces of makeup, then lightly pat it on under your eyes using a light touch of your finger. The Mavala website says the product works while you sleep.
Ingredients
Mavala's Eye Contour Double Cream contains Malvhydran complex and hyaluronic acid. The company claims both add moisture to the skin to firm and revitalize it. The cream does not contain added fragrances or artificial colors.
