It is recommended to dissolve 1/2 teaspoon of table salt into eight ounces of water and then draw the water into a nosedropper. Tilt back the head and place the nosedropper at the opening of the nostril, releasing around one or two drops of the water into the nostril. Once the drop of water is in the nostril, breathe in to suck up the water. Individuals may have to do this method a few times. Blow the nose to remove any excess water.
Nasal Sprays

It is recommended that anybody using a nasal spray to use it once the nose starts exerting excessive fluid. Check the label to see how many times a day the treatment should be used.
