The Biggest Loser Workout DVD Review

The Biggest Loser is a TV reality series that brings on obese participants who are given the ultimate diet and exercise program. The participants are usually paired with a loved one or friend, who compete against other partners to see which group can lose the most weight. The Biggest Loser debuted in 2004.

History

The Biggest Loser Workout DVD was released on December 20, 2005. It is 109 minutes in length. It contains six workout routines to choose from, and features contestants from season 1 and 2 of the show, The Biggest Loser. The DVD was designed to help inspire home viewers to lose weight and eat well.

People featured in The Biggest Loser Workout DVD include Bob Harper, personal trainer; Jillian Michaels, personal trainer; Alison Sweeney, host; Ashley Johnston; and Daris George. Alison Sweeney is also a star on the daytime soap, Days of Our Lives, as well as the author of "The Mommy Diet." The two personal trainers, Jillian Michaels and Bob Harper, also help on The Biggest Loser TV show.

Fun Fact

Writers for the DVD include Nathan Taflove, Benjamin Silverman, Mark Koops, and Dave Broome. There were four producers, including Adam Vetri, Dan Keats, Bradford Schultze, and David Price.
