There are several miniature golf courses in the Bowie, Maryland area. The numerous course options can help avid golfers avoid getting bored from having to play the same course over and over. Many of the courses are challenging, but are still suitable for all ages. Some of the courses also offer alternatives to mini golf, like driving ranges, full courses and batting cages.
Nighthawk Golf Center
Nighthawk Golf Center is in Gambrills, Maryland, 10 to 15 minutes north of Bowie, and has a 19-hole miniature golf course. The course is challenging, but is manageable for golfers of all ages. The course contains holes with a lighthouse and waterfalls. Nighthawk Golf center is open daily from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., weather permitting. It costs $4 for children 10 and younger $5.50 for adults and $3 for a replay. For All-Day Play, it costs $7.50.

Laurel Golf Center
Laurel Golf Center, 15 minutes from Bowie, boasts the toughest 18-hole miniature golf course in Maryland. It is open daily during the summer; operating hours on Monday are 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. The other days of the week, the course is open from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Children under 12 may play 18 holes for $4 or 36 holes for $7. The cost for adults is $6 for 18 holes or $9 for 36. Seniors may play 18 holes for $5 or 36 holes for $8. Laurel Golf Center also offers use of its mini golf course for birthday parties.

Servana Park Golf Center
The Servana Park Golf Center's mini golf course, named Putter Falls, features an 8-foot rock waterfall. The ninth hole is the course's signature spot; a shot into the river there could result in a hole-in-one. A free game is awarded for a hole-in-one on the 18th hole, which features a tough looping shot.
Servana Park is about 20 minutes from Bowie. The course is open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Adults pay $7.25, children 12 years old and under pay $5.75 to play and children under three years old may play for free. Replays are $5.

Lunar Mini Golf
Lunar Mini Golf's courses are indoors and completely in black light. Everything in the facility glows. The Glen Burnie, Maryland location is in the Marley Station Mall and is approximately 45 minutes outside of Bowie.
Lunar Mini Golf is open from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday. The course is open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturdays and from noon to 6 p.m. on Sundays. The cost is $6 for players 5 years old and younger and $8 for anyone older than that. Players may play three rounds (54 holes) for the price of one.

Arundel Golf Park
Arundel Golf Park is approximately 30 minutes away from Bowie. The cost for players 12 or younger is $4.50. Adults pay $6 and seniors (55 and older) pay $5 to play. The mini course is open daily, rain, shine or light snow. During the summer, the course is open from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday. On Sunday, the course is open from 8 a.m. to sunset. During the winter months, the course closes earlier, between 7:30 and 8 p.m. depending on the daylight and the temperature.
