Golden Earth's line of balancing balls offer support while developing core strength and improving coordination and balance. Inflate your Golden Earth Pilates ball with its included foot pump to the specified diameter, often printed directly on the ball. Never use an air compressor to inflate your ball as the cold air blown by a compressor expands when it returns to room temperature, which may cause your ball to become overinflated. Inflating your ball larger than its maximum inflation size may also cause the ball to burst.
Step 1
Pull out your Golden Earth Pilates ball plug.
Step 2
Attach the vinyl hose to the blue nozzle on the foot pump.
Step 3
Insert the vinyl hose nozzle into the ball's air hole.
Step 4
Step up and down on the foot pump to inflate the ball.
Step 5
Check the diameter of the ball with a cloth tape measure as it nears full inflation to prevent it from exceeding the recommended diameter.
Step 6
Remove the pump's nozzle from the air hole. Insert the plug back into the ball to prevent air from escaping.
Tips and Warnings
- The ball should be firm when inflated to its maximum diameter. However, it's not necessary to inflate it to the maximum diameter. Sit on the ball periodically as you are inflating it to find a comfortable inflation level.
