Nestle also makes reduced-calorie meal replacement drinks such as Boost and sugar-free Carnation Instant Breakfast. Boost "Glucose-Control" comes in strawberry, chocolate and vanilla flavors. One serving provides 190 calories, 16 g protein, 7 g fat, 1 g saturated fat, 16 g carbohydrates and 3 g dietary fiber. One bottle of ready-to-drink, sugar-free Carnation Instant Breakfast provides 150 calories, 13 g protein, 5 g fat, 1.5 g saturated fat, 16 g carbohydrates and 2 g dietary fiber.
Diet Meals
Nestle-owned diet meal brands include Stouffer's Lean Cuisine and Lean Pockets; as well as Jenny Craig and Optifast low-calorie meal products. The nutrition facts of these products vary greatly but are designed to replace higher-calorie meals to help facilitate weight loss. The Baked Chicken Florentine entree from Lean Cuisine provides 200 calories, 18 g protein, 8 g fat, 2 g saturated fat, 14 g carbohydrates, 3 g dietary fiber and 660 mg sodium. One-half of a Chicken Parmesan Lean Pocke provides 290 calories, 10 g protein, 7 g fat, 3 g saturated fat, 46 g carbohydrates, 3 g dietary fiber and 440 mg sodium.
Ice Cream and Novelties
Nestle frozen dessert brands include Dreyer's and Edy's, Haagen-Dazs and Skinny Cow. Dreyer's, Edy's and Haagen-Dazs all offer light versions, such as reduced-fat, low-sugar and low-carbohydrate. The entire Skinny Cow line is reduced-fat/lower-calorie. A 1/2 cup serving of Edy's Light, Slow-Churned Rich & Creamy ice cream, chocolate flavor, provides 100 calories, 3 g protein, 4 g fat, 2 g saturated fat, 16 g carbohydrates and 0 g dietary fiber. Edy's no-sugar-added frozen fruit pops, per serving, provide only 30 calories, 0 g protein, 0 g fat and 8 g carbohydrates. A Skinny Cow low-fat ice cream sandwich provides, per serving, 150 calories, 4 g protein, 2 g fat, 1 g saturated fat, 31 g carbohydrates and 3 g dietary fiber.
