Hammer Strength is one of the top manufacturers of weight training machines. The company's line of plate-loaded weight machines is popular in gyms throughout the world. Among the advantages of using machines as opposed to free weights is an increased level of safety, especially for novice trainees. Many machine exercises simulate free weight movements. Also, several machine exercises can allow trainees to better focus on individual muscle groups. This is especially beneficial for trainees who are looking to improve a weak muscle.
