Whole-Wheat Bread

FitnessMagazine.com reports that white bread can have a worse affect on your waistline than sugary sodas or desserts. White bread elevates your blood sugar quickly so there's not a lot of time for your body to use the food as fuel, and therefore stores it as fat. Plus, white bread contains marginal, if any, fiber, which is also important for weight-loss in terms of having a healthy digestive system.

Greek-Style Yogurt

Add diet-friendly fresh fruit and you won't even miss your old yogurt.

Along with important vitamins and minerals, fruit contains fiber, which helps you to feel full and improves digestion, both of which are necessary in any weight loss plan. WomensHealthMag.com recommends adding a tablespoon of peanut butter for a delicious treat that will keep your energy up and metabolism going.

Eggs
