Street football games are designed to help keep you entertained and improve your passing and catching abilities. While street football is similar to regular football, there are several key differences between the two games. The out-of-bounds markers in street football are often the sidewalks on each side of the street. End zones often are garbage cans or other alternative marking devices.

Three on Three

This game is designed to simulate a professional football game, but with only six players. Mark off the end zones on both sides of the street. From here, divide six players into two teams of three. Flip a coin to see who gets the ball first. The first team with the ball has four attempts to get into the end zone. The game is touch football, so no pushing or tackling is allowed. The first team to score four touchdowns is the winner. Passing the ball and the use of a running back is allowed, but quarterbacks cannot run past the line of scrimmage.

Offensive Circle Pass

This game will help improve your ability to pass on the run. Grab a partner and line up in the middle of the street. Take 10 steps back from each other and start throwing the ball back and forth. As your passes improve in accuracy, start moving in a circle, passing the ball to each other while on the move. According to Football Drills, it is important to keep hips and shoulders square and pointed at the target. Have another friend or player keep track of how many accurate passes you throw. For every accurate pass, you get a point. The player with the most points at the end wins.

Handoff

This game will help your ability to receive a handoff. Have a group of players line up in the middle of the street, breaking up into two separate teams. If you are on the offensive team, line up 3 feet behind the quarterback with your hands on your knees and your knees slightly bent. As soon as the quarterback says hike, sprint toward his right shoulder with your hands open and in front of your chest. Try to get as far down the street as possible before being tagged by a defender. Have each player take a handoff and keep track of how far he goes. The player who makes it the farthest is the winner.
