Slim Fast is a brand-name weight-loss system that uses meal replacement products to help you shed unwanted pounds. The basic principle of calorie reduction through low-calorie meal replacement is a convenient option if you aren't a fan of cooking or food preparation. You will eat food on the Slim Fast plan, but much of the decision and work is taken care of for you. Consult your doctor if you are planning to lose weight with Slim Fast.
Step 1
Drink a Slim fast shake or eat a Slim fast meal replacement bar for breakfast. Snack on fresh fruit or vegetables during the morning if you find yourself hungry. One medium piece of fruit, or 1 cup of smaller fruits or vegetables will suffice. Don't add any high-fat or sugary dips or dressings.
Step 2
Drink a Slim Fast shake or eat a Slim Fast meal replacement bar at lunch time. Eat a medium piece of fruit or some raw vegetables for a mid-afternoon snack.
Step 3
Eat a "sensible" meal at dinner time. It can consist of a lean protein, such as skinless chicken or turkey breast, baked potato and large serving of a steamed vegetable. Also include 1 cup of fruit. The meal should be around 500 calories. Eat an evening snack such as a slice of low-fat pound cake or Slim Fast bar that is not designed as a meal replacement.
Tips and Warnings
