Deep pore cleansing milk is a daily cleanser recommended for dry, sensitive skin. It lacks the soaps and astringents of other cleansers that can remove moisture and lead to dryness. It also helps to remove dirt, oil, dead skin and makeup that may accumulate on your skin, which could eventually clog pores and result in blemishes.

Step 1

Pour a dollop of the deep pore cleansing milk into the palm of your hand; make the dollop roughly the size of a half dollar.

Step 2

Apply the cleansing milk to your face and neck, moving in an upward motion. Start from the inside of the face near the chin, nose and brow and massage outward.

Step 3

Allow the cleansing milk to set for a minute. This can help draw out dirt, grime and oil, while allowing time for moisturzers in the product to hydrate your skin.

Step 4

Rinse your face and neck thoroughly with cool to lukewarm water, making sure to remove all of the cleanser from the skin. It may take a couple passes to rinse away all of the milk.

Step 5

Pat dry your skin with a clean towel and continue with your normal skin care routine.

Tips and Warnings

  • Some products recommend simply wiping away the deep pore cleansing milk instead of rinsing the face with water. The choice is up to you.
