Lose weight in a matter of days without the use of diet pills, medication and any type of weight loss product. A healthy weight loss is typically no more than 2 lb per week, according to the Mayo Clinic. If you lose weight before seven days, realize this is most likely water weight. Not maintaining your dietary and exercise habits will cause you to regain the weight just as quickly as you lost it.
Step 1
Only eat fruits and vegetables for snacks and eliminate any sugar from your diet except what's naturally found in fruit. Sugar has calories but no nutritional value, according to "The Mayo Clinic Diet." Foods such as junk food, processed foods, microwavable foods, frozen pizzas and prepackaged snacks are typically high in calories, sodium and sugar and will easily cause you to gain weight.
Step 2
Prepare low-calorie meals with fresh foods and seasonings. Fresh food is loaded with vitamins, minerals, fiber and other nutrients instead of unwanted fat, sugar, salt and calories, according to "The Mayo Clinic Diet." Your caloric intake should be at least 1,200 calories for women and 1,800 calories for men. Eat five to six small meals throughout the day to keep your stomach full but not stuffed and to speed up your metabolism for burning calories.
Step 3
Accumulate 60 minutes or more of physical activity every day. For example, run for 20 minutes three times a day. Go walking in the morning, do chores around noon and play basketball before dinner. Physical activity does not have to be painful and boring for you to burn calories. Be creative. Take the stairs instead of the elevator and sit on a balance ball instead of a chair. You must burn 500 calories more than you consume every day to lose 1 lb per week. It may take 60 to 90 minutes of physical activity per day to lose weight in a short amount of time, according to the American College of Sports Medicine.
Step 4
Use calisthenics, such as push-ups and lunges, every day to gain muscle strength. People with muscles burn more calories per day, even at rest, according to the Mayo Clinic. Calisthenics should be performed every day and multiple times a day to maximize strength gains and to burn more calories.
