Visiting Red Rock Canyon allows you to explore unique geologic features of the Mojave Desert.

The Hoover Dam is a national landmark that is built between Arizona and Nevada in the Black Canyon, roughly 30 miles southeast of Las Vegas. While standing on the dam, you are given a view from over 700 feet above the Colorado River. Roughly 1,500-feet south and almost 900-feet north of the Colorado River, you will see the new Colorado River Bridge that is a bypass towering over the dam and canyon.

Valley of Fire

Approximately 55 miles northeast of Las Vegas, Valley of Fire presents you with unusual sandstone formations and ancient petroglyphs. While visiting the park, you may go hiking, rock climbing, picnicking and explore 3,000-year-old markings made by man. Located six miles from Lake Mead, the park has roads that allow you to drive to diverse rock formations that range from the Beehives to Seven Sisters.

Death Valley

Roughly 140 miles northwest of Las Vegas, Death Valley is known for the extremes of being the hottest, driest and lowest region in North America. With more than three million acres of wilderness, you have the opportunity to see salt flats, shadowy canyons and historic mining sites. Visiting Death Valley allows you to see plants, animals and scenery that are unique to the regions extreme climate.

Grand Canyon

Giving you several opportunities for tours of all price ranges, from Vegas you can take a short flight or travel 270 miles southeast by land to the Grand Canyon. The most affordable way to see the Grand Canyon is to take a tour by bus or van, requiring a full-day to make the more than 500-mile round trip.
