ClubSport Green Valley is a place to bring your entire family. In Kid's World, children 6 months to 12 years old can engage in a variety of learning activities and playtime while you relax. Or the fitness resort offers kid-friendly sports programs, such as pee-wee soccer, racquetball, dance and tennis. If you want to receive a full body massage or get your nails painted, the Spa at ClubSport Green Valley takes same-day appointments. You can even order meals in the Club Café that features a variety of sandwiches, sports drinks, energy bars, burgers and salads. In addition, you can use your laptop with the complimentary Wi-Fi in the café. The fitness club offers numerous wellness and nutrition programs, including weight management, exercise classes, stress management and relaxation training. People who actually want to exercise have access to the fitness center equipped with cardio, free weights and circuit machines.
Luxury Fitness and Spa
You can buy a Canyon Spaclub Passport for $20 a day with a purchase of a spa treatment. Passports are valid from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. You have access to the Aquavana and fitness center. The Aquavana consists of an aromatic crystal steam room, cooling showers and lounge chairs near a massage fountain. The staff provides complimentary drinks, sandals and robes for your visit. The fitness center encompasses an indoor rock wall, Kinesis studio and dance studio.
Social Organization
You can join the nearest YMCA in Las Vegas to use the fitness center or register for group exercise classes. Las Vegas has three YMCA locations: Bill and Lillie Heinrich YMCA, City of Las Vegas Durango Hills Community Center and the Centennial Hills Community Center. The Bill and Lillie Heinrich YMCA offers the most amenities. You have access to two outdoor pools, an indoor heated lap pool, two basketball courts, tennis courts, a rock climbing wall, indoor running track and outdoor rack along with a variety of exercise equipment in the fitness center. The other two locations offer swimming pools, basketball courts and cardio and free weight equipment.
Women Only Fitness Clubs
Exercise in a location where you are comfortable and around the same gender at the women's only Curves in Las Vegas. Curves fitness center provides nine locations throughout Las Vegas, including the Silverado, North Central, Paradise East and Vegas Valley. Most locations open around 5:30 a.m. or 6 a.m. during the week, close at noon on Saturdays and do not operate on Sundays. Curves boasts, "It gives you a complete cardio and strength-training workout in just 30 minutes, where you can burn up to 500 calories." You can purchase a host of Curves products at each location, such as Curves books, multivitamins and shakes.
Open Long Hours
Sometimes you need a fitness center that is flexible to your schedule, so you may opt for 24-hour fitness clubs. Las Vegas has seven Snap Fitness clubs, six Las Vegas Athletic Clubs and four Gold's Gyms as of September 2010. Locations are typically open 24 hours a day during the week and close early on the weekend. The fitness center with the most group exercise classes per week is the Las Vegas Athletic Club with more than 700 weekly. All fitness clubs offer cardio machines, free weights and personal trainers.
