You can shop for camping gear, pick up items for your RV or buy a new rig at the Camping World locations in Alabama. The locations are in the central and southern areas of the state. No Camping World locations exist in the northwest part of Alabama. All of the locations are located near major highways. In case of a breakdown, Camping World will repair your RV, even if it means ordering a special part or dealing with a warranty repair.
Locations
You have a choice of three Camping World locations in Alabama. The Dothan location is in the southeast corner of Alabama. Anniston is located just off Interstate 20, close to the Talladega Speedway. Robertsdale is on the southwest coast.
RV Sales
All three locations offer RV sales. You can view the available RV inventory on the Dothan and Robertsdale Camping World websites. The Anniston location sells RVs through Dandy RV Sales. Their inventory is not on line. Dandy RV Sales is not affiliated with Camping World although they share the Anniston location.
Repairs
Get your rig repaired at any Alabama Camping World location. Services such as product installation, tire changes, inspections and oil changes are available at all three stores. You can park overnight at any of the locations in Alabama. The Robertsdale and Anniston locations have RV spas.
Nearby Attractions
Camping World Locations in Alabama are conveniently located near major attractions. Robertsdale is close to the Gulf Coast. Anniston is close to the Talladega National Forest and only 60 miles outside of Birmingham, the state's capitol. From the Dothan location you can visit the Dothan Opera House, Water World or the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail.
Hours
Some of the Alabama Camping World locations are open seasonally and have variable hours. They are open on Labor Day and other holidays. All of the times listed are in Central Standard Time.
Dothan and Anniston have fall seasons that run from September 14 through November 8. During the fall, store hours are reduced. The stores are closed from November 9 through March 22. Check with the individual store for exact hours.
The Robertsdale store is open all year. The seasons run from September 14 through April 19. The hours change from April 20 to September 13. Call them at 888-445-5990 before you head out to verify the hours of operation.
