Breast enhancement pills are natural herbs and vitamins that regulate natural estrogen hormone production. Manufacturers of breast enhancement pills use many of the same main ingredients and add additional herbs to make their formula distinct. No herbal remedies have been proven conclusively to increase breast size. Consult with a physician prior to taking breast enhancement pills to discuss any contraindications with other medication or potential side effects.
Fenugreek and Fennel
Fenugreek seed extract is a phytoestrogen herb made from the seeds of the trigonella foenum-graecum plant. A phytoestrogen is a plant that contains herbal properties similar to natural estrogen. Many manufacturers of breast enhancement pills use fenugreek seed as the main ingredient because it regulates estrogen.
Fennel seed is common in cooking as a pungent licorice flavoring. When utilized as a herbal remedy, fennel seed contains anti-spasmodic and analgesic properties. Fennel seed is also known to aid with hormone regulation during menstruation and increases milk production. Fennel's use in breast enhancement pills is to regulate estrogen along with fenugreek.
L-Tyrosine
L-tyrosine is a non-essential amino acid found in lean meats and dairy products. L-tyrosine aids in weight and is a protein building block. According to Ray Sahelian, M.D., l-tyrosine is used as a mood regulator, but also notes high doses of l-tyrosine cause heart palpitations and arrhythmia.
Saw Palmetto and Damiana Leaf
Saw palmetto use for male hormone regulation is well-documented. Saw palmetto for female hormone regulation has not been completely studied. Breast enhancement pills use saw palmetto because of phytonutrients that stimulate breast tissue.
Damiana leaf is used in erectile dysfunction herbal remedies because of its ability to increase blood flow. While damiana does the same for women-improve blood flow, its addition to breast enhancement pills is due to the phytonutrients shown to balance hormones. Damiana contains beta-carotene, beta-pinene and alpha-pinene.
Other Herbal Ingredients
Other ingredients compliment the estrogen properties of other herbs. Dong Quai Root is an Asian root used in Traditional Chinese Medicine for easing menopausal symptoms and easing cramps during menstruation. Dong quai also regulates hormones and enables the body to use estrogen efficiently. Dong quai also contains blood thinning properties, so it should be avoided by women on blood thinning medications.
Blessed thistle herb and Mexican wild yam root both contain phytonutrients that regulate hormones and reduce cramping. Both also contain flavonoids that reduce free radical production.
While not an estrogen nutrient, kelp aids with proper functioning of the thyroid, a vital gland in hormone regulation.
