Thieves
This combination of clove, lemon, cinnamon, eucalyptus and rosemary essential oils gets its unusual name from the 15th-century tale about French thieves who used a similar blend as protection against the Black Plague when they were robbing the disease's victims. According to a study published in the "Flavour and Fragrance Journal" in 2008, Thieves is an effective bacteria fighter.

Clarity's blend of basil, cardamom, rosemary, peppermint, rosewood, geranium, lemon, palmarosa, ylang-ylang, bergamot, Roman chamomile and jasmine helps increase alertness. Studies conducted at the University of Cincinnati and the Wheeling Jesuit University at West Virginia found that peppermint improves concentration. Valor
Meant to boost self-esteem and build courage, Valor's empowering scent combines spruce, rosewood, blue tansy and frankincense in a base of almond oil.
White Angelica
This positive-energy mixture of bergamot, geranium, myrrh, sandalwood, rosewood, ylang ylang, spruce, hyssop, melissa and rose for a calming, soothing effect. Its almond-oil base makes it safer to apply directly to skin or to your bath.
