How to Use Astroglide

Overview

Astroglide is a water-based lubricant that may be used as a remedy for vaginal dryness. Some may use it simply to increase sexual pleasure as well, either applied directly to the genitals or on the inside and outside of a condom. One of the testimonials on the Astroglide website claims that it "provides a greater sensation of warmth and closer body contact."

Step 1

Apply a few drops of Astroglide to your or your partner's genital area. For women, this lubricant may be applied to the interior or exterior genital surfaces.

Step 2

Use your fingers if desired---or have your partner do so---to evenly distribute the Astroglide over the genital surface.

Step 3

Apply Astroglide to a condom, if desired, by placing a drop or two inside the condom, putting the condom on as usual, then placing a few drops on the outside of the condom.

Step 4

Use your fingers to evenly distribute the Astroglide on the condom, or have your partner do so, if desired. You may also allow the natural movement of sexual activity to distribute the lubricant for you.
