If possible, choose raw organic apple cider vinegar, which hasn't been processed or distilled. This ensures all nutrients are still intact. Always consult with your doctor before taking any supplement or natural remedies.

Skin Problems

Apple cider vinegar can be used to treat a number of skin conditions. According to natural health site Home Remedies Web, apple cider vinegar can be used to treat acne. The acidic content of the vinegar helps dry out the excess oil and reduce blemishes. Vinegar can also purportedly be used to treat aging skin--apply it directly on rough skin and dark spots to help soften and lighten them. This method works on both the face and on other areas of the body, such as dark spots on the hands.

Weight Loss

Vinegar has been touted as a weight loss aid. Digestive Problems

Apple cider vinegar can be used to help a number of digestive and stomach problems, including constipation, gastrointestinal tract inflammation and slow digestion. While it might seem contradictory, apple cider vinegar can also treat certain cases of diarrhea. Because vinegar has soothing abilities, it can help ease irritation of the colon, causing the diarrhea to stop. Apple cider vinegar is also used to lower cholesterol.
