If you are on a gluten-free diet, you might still be craving foods like sandwiches, toast and croutons. Luckily, there is an ever-increasing supply of gluten-free bread products emerging on the market. Gluten-free bread can be found in most health food stores, in many grocery stores and from a plethora of online vendors. There are several brands available for you to choose from, each of which offers different ingredients, flavors and consistency. Bob's Red Mill

Bob's Red Mill offers a host of gluten-free products, including "Bob's Red Mill Gluten-Free Homemade Wonderful Bread Mix." This mix comes as a flour to be baked fresh at home with a bread machine or by hand. It is entirely gluten, wheat and dairy free. This bread mix is made from a blend of flours including garbanzo bean, white sorghum, tapioca, fava bean and potato flour. When baked properly, it makes flavorful, moist bread.

Food For Life

Food For Life offers several variations of gluten free bread such as Whole Grain Brown Rice, Rice Almond and Raisin Pecan. Food For Life breads are sweetened with fruit juice concentrate and are made from a blend of flours that are specific to each bread. Food for Life bread offers unique flavors with a dense consistency.

Gluten Free Pantry

Gluten Free Pantry has several gluten-free baking mixes, among which is their "Favorite Sandwich Bread." This mix can be made with a bread machine or by hand. It yields a moist, dense white bread to be used for sandwiches or toast. It is made with rice flour and brown sugar and is entirely gluten-free, wheat-free and kosher. Ener-G gluten-free breads are also free of wheat, casein, dairy, eggs, soy, nuts and corn. These breads are typically low in protein and are sweetened with fruit juice concentrate. They typically have a dense consistency with flavors that vary per variety.
