If you want to play a round of mini golf in Georgia, you will have many options, as courses are located throughout the state, including northern portions, such as Blue Ridge, Augusta in the east and Valdosta in the south region. Mini golf is an active sport that can provide you with exercise.

North Georgia Mountains Courses

The facilities that have miniature golf courses in Blue Ridge, Georgia, which is located in the northern mountain region of the state, combine the sport with gold mining. Huck's Lost Mine has a 9-hole indoor miniature golf course. The miniature golf course at Lily Pad Village also has nine holes. The two courses challenge your skill and accuracy with holes that are located on inclines and near water hazards.

East Georgia Area Courses

Adventure Crossing in Augusta, Georgia has a 9-hole miniature golf courses. The Putt Putt Golf and Game location in Martinez, Georgia has 18 holes. The water hazards and rocks at Putt Putt Golf and Games will challenge your miniature golf game.

18-hole Mini Golf Courses

The mini golf course at All American Fun Park in Albany, Georgia has 18 holes. Another 18-hole mini golf course, Island Miniature Golf and Games, is located in Savannah, Georgia. Both courses will challenge you with water hazards, such as ponds, streams and fountains. The two Georgia mini golf courses also have rock hazards. In 2009, "Coastal Family" magazine presented Island Miniature Golf and Games with a Family Choice Award. Area readers of the magazine picked the facility to receive the award.

Larger Mini Golf Courses

Fun Zone Amusement and Sports Park in Pooler, Georgia is a large mini golf course with more than 18 holes. All American Fun Park also has two 18-hole mini golf courses, for a total of 36 holes. The 36-hole mini golf course at Fun Zone Amusement and Sports Park has a tropical feel, with palm trees and water falls. A large pond sets in the middle of the course. While playing this course, you will have to navigate around large rocks and use slopes to your advantage to make a few holes.

Theme Park Courses

Some of the most popular mini golf courses in Georgia are constructed around a central theme. Pirate's Cove Adventure Golf in Atlanta, Georgia has 27 holes. The Georgia mini golf course is complete with a pirate's ship, lending to its theme. You will be challenge on this course with holes that require skill and accuracy. Pirate's Cove has waterfalls and streams that come into play on some of the holes. Wild Adventures theme park in Valdosta, Georgia is surrounded in a jungle setting. The 18-hole course will challenge you with holes that have steep changes in elevation, rocks, water hazards and other obstacles.
