A raw food diet eschews greasy animal-based foods, as well as products that have been processed and refined then packaged and shipped. According to Nov55.com, going onto a raw food diet can greatly improve your body weight and your digestive system.
Banana Pancakes
Banana pancakes on a raw food diet are vastly different than banana pancakes made from batter and cooked on a stove. According to The Best of Raw Food website, all you need to make banana pancakes are a banana, coconut meal or coconut flakes and a little bit of cinnamon. Smash the banana in a bowl using a fork or spatula. Once the banana is smooth, add 2 tbsp. of coconut meal and a dash of cinnamon before mixing. Make small pancakes with what you have created, then leave them in direct sunlight for two hours, flipping them halfway through. The pancakes should be dry on the outsides but can still be moist inside.
Lasagna
Before you can make a raw food lasagna you have to make sauce, according to Loving-it-raw.com. Combine half of a large jar of black olives, 15 sun-dried tomatoes, four beef tomatoes, six oranges, four cloves of garlic, three red bell peppers and a stalk of celery in a blender. Mix it up to make the sauce. The lasagna starts with a layer of nori on the bottom of a large pie dish. Add grated carrot for the first layer, then sprinkle on some diced red bell pepper before adding a layer of sauce. Put on another layer of nori and cover it with celery followed by a layer of diced avocado. Next comes a layer of asparagus before more sauce, then a layer of mushrooms and a layer of zucchini. Add yet another layer of sauce before putting down a layer of nori and covering that with bean sprouts. Add a final layer of sauce then garnish with fresh rocket.
