Joining Jenny Craig starts with a consultation with a consultant. The consultant will help you decide which lifestyle program best suits you. Initial consultations are available online, by going into one of the centers or by calling the toll-free number.
Step 1
Start with your free consultation. Call 1-800-597-Jenny or 1-800-597-5366 and speak with a Jenny Craig consultant about your situation. Seek advice about which plan works best for your budget, situation and lifestyle. Get enough information to make an informed decision. Ask the consultant to mail you information if you need more time to consider your choices. Factor in the cost of your program fee which as of September 2010, runs $399 for the year unless there is a special promotion--which you can pay up front or monthly. Be prepared to pay $12 to $20 daily for food while on the Jenny Craig program and a $39 annual program renewal fee if you decide to continue. No other fees are involved unless you purchase extras such as exercise videos, DVDs or pedometers.
Step 2
You can join by telephone. Indicate to the consultant that you wish to sign up after your free initial consultation. Go through the registration, signup process, payment process and get started with your custom-designed program.
Step 3
You can join online. Go to the Jenny Craig website and read about the different programs. Choose the program that seems best for you. Hit the "get a callback" button and fill in the requested information. Wait for a consultant to call you to discuss your chosen program and finish the registration over the telephone. Do not leave your home before the consultant calls you; it takes between 30 minutes and one hour to receive a callback.
Step 4
You can visit one of the centers in your state. Go into a center and speak to a consultant face to face. Gather enough information to make an informed decision; sign up right then or at a later time. This is where you will meet regularly with your consultant during your regular sessions, unless you choose the "at home" option.
