The days of a basic flat soled shoe for tennis have been over for more than a decade but you can still find comfort and simplicity from New Balance.

New Balance Tennis Shoes

The very best New Balance Tennis shoes feature Ndurance soles. Made of a specially-designed rubber, the Ndurance sole is designed to last the rigors of a competitive player's game. For the novice these soles may last several seasons.

Women's New Balance Tennis Shoes

New Balance makes a number of women's tennis shoes, but the midlevel WC900 comes complete with several unique New Balance features such as Abzorb and N-ergy. Both of these technologies were developed by New Balance to aid in absorbing heel strike with each step or lunge for a ball. The new Acteva technology offers mid-sole impact cushioning. New Balance claims this material and technology is much lighter than competitor brands.

Men's New Balance Tennis Shoes

For men, the New Balance CT653 is perhaps one of the best shoes on the market. The principle reason for this is the tan rubber Ndurance sole. The shoe combines comfort and appearance with a non-skid, non-marking sole that wraps over the toe box just enough to keep you from catching the leather upper on the court during a serve.
