History

Oil of Olay was first formally introduced to the world in 1959 by Graham Wulff. He and his wife Dinah composed a new beauty skin product which they referred to as beauty fluid. The light, non-greasy, pink formula was soon manufactured in countries such as the United States, England, Canada, Germany and the Netherlands. After being sold to two other businesses, Oil of Olay was bought by Proctor & Gamble in 2000, where they shortened the name to Olay.
