Insanity
Shaun T. is a personal fitness trainer who helps you melt off pounds using his Insanity workouts. Insanity provides a high endurance, cardio-packed workout plan. You don't need any special equipment or weights to achieve optimum results with Insanity. Insanity helps you workout by using resistance, strength training and ab and core workouts to tone and target your midsection. The techniques vary using aerobic and anaerobic intervals, according to the Insanity website. Insanity claims that you can burn up to 1,000 calories in an hour by regularly using the Insanity workouts based on the workout calendar.
Turbo Jam
Chalene Johnson takes you to your maximum fat burning levels using her signature workouts: Turbo Jam. Turbo Jam uses a kickboxing and dancing technique along with Pilates to help shed pounds. Turbo Jam workouts come with turbo sculpting gloves, which are weighted hand gloves to help maximize your fat-burning results. The weighted hand gloves are 2-1/2 pounds each for a total of five pounds. Some of the Turbo Jam workouts are up to 50 minutes, but there are shorter workouts featured as well. Turbo Jam works your upper body, midsection and your lower body simultaneously so you receive a total body workout.
P90X
P90X is taught byl fitness trainer Tony Horton. Tony uses a combination of aerobic exercises with the use of weights or resistance bands and rolls the workouts into a total body workout. The P90X work your back, chest, arms, abs, legs and core. P90X uses a technique referred to as muscle confusion, according to beachbody.com, so that your body doesn't become too accustomed to the same workouts and continues to burn fat---which helps you from hitting a plateau in your fitness goals.
