Incredible muscle mass can be built by anyone healthy enough to participate in resistance training. Building muscle takes time and hard work, but can be accomplished with dedication, and following key rules that will make any routine you do maximize the amount of muscle growth you get from it. You will also need to have a muscle building diet that gives your body the tools it needs to build your stronger and larger muscles. Your diet will need to be coupled with proper supplementation that will also play a role in helping you achieve your muscle mass goals.

Step 1

Do compound muscle movements. Compound movements utilize multiple muscle groups which allow you to push, lift or pull heavier loads than isolation movements. According to Build-muscle-gain-weight.com, compound movements such as squats, dead lifts, bench presses, chin ups, and military presses all force your body to secrete testosterone from the great amount of stress placed on it. These exercises should be staples of any routine and should be all done if possible.

Step 2

Eat one to two grams of protein for every pound of weight through out the day. Use protein supplementation to help you reach your goals and utilize whey protein immediately after a workout. According to The Whey Protein institute, whey protein is quickly absorbed and metabolized by the body helping it begin recovering and repairing from the damage it incurred during a strenuous weight lifting session.

Step 3

Take 5g of creatine a day. According to Gain-weight-muscle-fast.com taking creatine will help keep your muscles ATP stores stocked supplying your muscles with energy for a longer time before fatigue sets in. This will allow for harder and more intense contraction of the muscle giving you more productive exercise sessions. Creatine will also help draw water into your muscle cells giving them a fuller and larger appearance.
