Step 2

Do "double hand propping up the sky." This qigong meditation exercise requires you to lace your fingers in front of you palms up. Inhale as you raise your hands to your face then turn your palms over and prop up the sky. Exhale as you reverse the movement.

Step 3

Do "drawing the bow." This qigong meditation exercise requires you to stand with your feet two shoulder widths apart and your knees bent. Extend both hands to your sides then inhale as you bring them in and cross them. Exhale as you press one palm outward to your side as the other one draws backward in the opposite direction as if you were drawing a bow. Repeat on the other side.

Step 4

Do "single hand propping up the sky." This qigong meditation exercise is similar to the "double hand propping up the sky." Place one hand palm up and the other palm down in front of your chest. Inhale as you press the hand with palm up toward the sky and the other hand toward the ground. Look up as you do this. Exhale as you return both hands to the middle. Repeat with the hands moving in opposite directions.

Step 5

Do "swing the tail." This qigong meditation exercise requires you to stand with your feet two shoulder widths apart and your knees bent. Place your hands on your hips. Inhale as you bend at the waist then circle your body to the right. Turn your feet until you are facing right in a deep forward stance and exhale.
