According to the Christian Science Monitor, Eggo brand frozen toaster waffles represent 73 percent of all waffles consumed in American households. Frozen toaster waffles are relatively inexpensive and convenient. Spread with butter, syrup or jam, Eggo waffles are a perennial American favorite.

Serving Size and Calories

One serving of Kellogg's Eggo Homestyle Waffles is 70g, which is two waffles, according to Eggo's website, leggomyeggo.com. This portion provides 190 total calories.

Fat

Two Eggo waffles contain 7g of fat total, or 11 percent of the daily value of fat. Of the total fat, 2g are saturated fat, which is 10 percent of the daily value. In addition, 3.5g are polyunsaturated fat and 1.5g are monounsaturated fat. There are also 15mg of cholesterol, 370mg of sodium and 60mg of potassium, which are respectively 5 percent, 15 percent and 2 percent of the recommended daily value for those categories.

Carbohydrates

A serving of two Eggo waffles provides 27g of total carbohydrate, which is 9 percent of the daily value. Of this total, 1g is fiber, which is 3 percent of the daily value. There are 2g of sugar in this serving and 24g of "other carbohydrate."
