Tae Bo creator, Billy Blanks, incorporates martial arts with boxing and strength training moves to provide you with a full-body workout program. The American Council on Exercise found that cardio kickboxing workouts similar to Tae Bo burn roughly 350 to 450 calories per hour while also improving strength, flexibility and improved coordination. Tae Bo comes in a variety of workouts, so try several before settling on your workout of choice, or rotate through a number of them to keep from getting bored.

Billy Blanks Tae Bo Amped

"Fitness" Mmagazine online includes the Billy Blanks Tae Bo Amped workout as one of its top 10 workout DVDs. The set of four workout DVDs incorporates a three pound "Amplifier Bar" that adds resistance to every movement. The Tae Bo Amped series takes traditional Tae Bo kickboxing moves and adds short, high-intensity bursts of cardiovascular exercise into the mix, raising your heart rate and burning calories while building strength. One of the "Fitness" testers indicated that she already felt the workout burning her muscles by the end of the warm-up.

Tae Bo Fat Blasting 2 Pack

The Tae Bo Fat Blasting 2 Pack provides you with two DVDs that focus on cardiovascular fitness. The routine still incorporates the Tae Bo boxing, martial arts and strength-training moves, but the focus is fast-moving exercises that keep your heart rate up throughout the routine. With the two-pack you receive the Fat Blasting Cardio workout and the Total Body Fat Blaster workout, providing you with 46 and 56 minutes of cardiovascular exercise, respectively.

Tae Bo Funk and Tae Bo Funk Freestyle

If you prefer dance to kicking and punching, you may want to try Billy Blanks' Tae Bo Funk. This cardiovascular workout incorporates hip-hop moves to the traditional Tae Bo exercises for a grooving and shaking workout that helps you forget that you're even exercising. After getting used to Tae Bo Funk, pop in the Tae Bo Funk Freestyle DVD that uses the same moves as the Tae Bo Funk DVD, but allows you to let yourself loose a little more. With this DVD you have the opportunity to dance and groove in a freestyle format in addition to being led in moves by Billy Blanks.
