The main objective of natural drug detoxification is to flush out the remnants and toxins accumulated in your body as a result of using pharmaceutical or illegal drugs. This can be achieved through the process of detoxification. All drugs are processed inside your liver as harmful substances to be eliminated later by your body. If these substances are not eliminated, liver toxicity can occur. By using a few natural remedies, you can effectively detoxify your body of drugs.
Step 1
Drink one cup of fresh ginger root tea daily. The potent active ingredient of ginger is 6-gingerol, which induces sweating and eliminates drug toxins through your skin. Slice one ginger root and add it to boiling water. Drink when slightly hot or warm. You can also consume ginger as a supplement for added benefit. Take one 500 mg ginger capsule once a day.
Step 2
Consume dandelion flower in supplement form. Inulin is the potent active ingredient of this flower. It improves liver function and enhances the flow of bile while detoxifying the remnants of drugs from your organs, fat cells, blood and urine. The recommended dosage for this herb is one 750 mg capsule twice daily, preferably with food.
Step 3
Eat one cup of fresh or dried seaweed every day. The active ingredient of seaweed is sodium alginate, which binds the remnants of drugs in your gastrointestinal tract and prohibits them from being absorbed into your body.
Step 4
Drink 1 to 3 liters of water every day. Drinking enough water can enhance your liver and kidney functions to help eliminate drug remnants. Drinking enough water will also provide your body with extra liquids to cool down as well as increase your capacity to sweat.
Step 5
Do at least one hour of vigorous exercising, such as jogging and swimming, every day. Exercising stimulates and strengthens all your internal organs. It also helps you sweat more while eliminating drug remnants through your kidneys, skin and digestive system.
