Redline Flight Series 2011

Redline is one of the original BMX companies, and it shows in the quality of its products. The Flight Pro is made of a R6 aluminum frame and a carbon fiber fork for a stiff lightweight ride. Redline Device Complete 2011

Hoffman Ontic Al 2011

Matt Hoffman made his name redefining freestyle BMX in the half-pipe, and now his brand of BMX bicycles is leaving its mark as well. The new Ontic Al is a designed around the 100 percent chromoly frame and fork, according to Hoffmanbikes.com, with two piece chromoly handlebars and three-piece chromoly tubular cranks, Alienation and Black Sheep rims and Tektro rear brake. As of 2010, the price is $549.

Intense Team

The Team has is an impressive hydro-formed alloy frame, with optional alloy or carbon fiber forks. Stocked with Sinz components for speed and power transfer, an earlier Team model won recognition from the American Bicycle Association with a Bike of the Year Award, according to ABABMX.com. As of 2010, the price is $1,399.

Intense Felix

The Felix is Intense's version of a stripped down dirt jumper, but there is more than meets the eye. It features a full chromoly frame and fork, plus chromoly three-piece tubular cranks, matched with Sinz double wall rims and tenacious ITS tires. As of 2010, the price is $425.

Haro Forum Pro Light

Haro is another elder statesmen of the BMX world, making BMX products for decades, so it no wonder why the Forum series is noted as among the best. SE Racing Quadangle

SE Racing has a following built on the strength of its frames, but the legendary Quadangle is simply a classic. First introduced in the 1980s, this unique frame captures the spirit of SE's innovation, and when it's paired with fully updated Landing Gear forks, it's nearly indestructible. SE PK Ripper XLP 2011

In line with its race-winning tradition, the signature Floval aluminum PK Ripper is a time-proven BMX racer. The Floval frame provides a stiff, light and responsive ride, while the three-piece SE cranks and Alex Supra Dome rims keep it rugged and ready for anything. According to SEbikes.com, the frame is now made from a 6066 aluminum. As of 2010, the price is $699.

DK Aura Bike

DK has made a splash in the BMX market, and its Aura is good example of an all around, made-for-anything ride. It features a chromoly frame and fork, Crazy-8 Two-piece handlebars, Tektra brakes and DK Social-3 three piece cranks. DK is a young, reputable company. As of 2010, the price is $599.

Fitbikeco PRK Van Homan

This signature series model features a chromoly frame and fork, tubular cranks and Alienation 440 rims. It also has a compact drive train system, allowing for a smaller chain-wheel in front to provide maximum clearance. The PRK is intended for aggressive park-style riding. As of 2010, the price is $629.99.
