Juicing is a very effective way to quickly absorb valuable nutrients into the body. Using juicing methods for supplemental nutritional support rather than consuming solid foods allows the body to skip the process of digestion that is necessary when you eat whole foods. Another very important health benefit of juicing is that it is an easy way to obtain the wide variety of beneficial enzymes, which are primarily found in raw foods, and essential to assimilation of nutrients into the body. Juicing specifically for bone health can be done through using certain fruits and vegetables in combination.

Step 1

Juice collard greens, spinach and one small orange in a cocktail for breakfast. These deep green vegetables are rich in calcium content, as are oranges, suggests Kansas State University, Nutrition Spotlight. Oranges add supportive vitamin D to support optimal absorption of the calcium for bone health.

Step 2

Juice one head of broccoli with one small bundle of spinach. Add one small apple to taste. Broccoli, along with the other dark green vegetables mentioned in step one, offers 47 milligrams of calcium per one half cup serving. You can also add antioxidant rich cilantro or mint for added flavor and health-boosting properties.

Step 3

Blend one small banana in a blender with one cup of whole milk. Juice one small orange with kale and celery, add one half an apple to taste. Add the juiced fruit and vegetable mix in the blender with the banana mix and combine them. All of these raw foods provide a synergistic combination of vitamins D, magnesium and calcium to support bone health.
