Vitamin E

Vitamin E is an antioxidant vitamin that protects your hair from damage that may be caused by free radicals, according to the Mayo Clinic. Vitamin E builds capillaries in your body and encourages proper blood flow, which helps to encourage hair growth on the scalp. Natural News says that adding vitamin E to your diet helps to stimulate hair follicles that grow hair. Vitamin is in many of the foods you eat, including meat, eggs, poultry, nuts and green vegetables.

Iron

Womens Fitness says that iron is one of the most common causes of hair loss among pre-menopausal women. Iron plays an essential role in the normal growth and development of your hair. Red meat, green leafy vegetables and fortified cereals are good sources of iron.
