Blemishes on your face or body can be embarrassing if they are visible to the naked eye. This can include blackheads, pimples, acne nodules or ingrown hairs, all of which can take time to heal properly. In the meantime, it is important to know how you can conceal or reduce the appearance of body blemishes
Step 1
Exfoliate the affected skin, rinse thoroughly and gently blot with a towel. This will smooth out your skin and slough away dead skin cells.
Step 2
Dab on a concealer appropriate to the type of blemish you wish to hide. If the blemish is red, use a yellow-tinted concealer. If you are trying to hide black or brown spots, choose one that is slightly lighter than the blemish.
Step 3
Apply the concealer over the blemish with a sponge or your finger. Blend the edges of the concealer into the rest of your skin in a circular motion and let it dry for a couple of minutes.
Step 4
Apply foundation that matches your skin tone with a sponge or your finger over the concealed blemish and into the surrounding skin. This will give extra coverage so your blemish is less noticeable.
Step 5
Dust some mineral powder over the foundation once it has sufficiently dried. This will help set the foundation and hide your blemish for several hours.
