In Denver, Sports Monster is the largest organization that runs such events. Most of the leagues are under $5 to join, as of 2010, and Sports Monster supplies the facilities and the singles.

Twice a month, Denver Ballroom Dancing organizes events at the Denver Kickers club. More than 200 people typically attend these dances so there are plenty of opportunities to meet new people from the area with no pressure, and it's also open to couples. Alternatively, Rocky Mountain Swing Dance Club offers dances at 6:30 p.m. every Sunday, with free optional lessons an hour beforehand.

Dinner for Six is a dating program designed for Denver working professionals who find it hard to fit socializing into a busy schedule. Six strangers -- three men and three women -- go to the same restaurant to eat and chat without the pressure of one-on-one blind dates, thus supplying an opportunity to meet friends as well as partners.
