Regulations
You need a valid state issued license to fish in Hyder. The Alaska Department of Natural Resources states that all anglers age 16 and up must obtain a fishing license to fish anywhere in the state. If you intend to fish for king salmon, you will also need to obtain a king salmon stamp.
