Visit a dermatologist for a dermabrasion treatment. This method uses a sharp, rotating brush to peel off the skin's surface. This process is usually done only once, and has long-lasting results. Immediately after dermabrasion, you may have redness or swelling around the abraded skin. Your dermatologist may prescribe antibiotics to prevent an infection.
