Weight loss can be complicated, whether you are following a trusted weight loss program or engaging in regular exercise. However, many diet supplements are available that may encourage weight and fat loss. Although diet pills are popular, fat-burning drinks are also popular because they allow you to drink them gradually, so you can control your dosage. Fat-burning drinks may include a variety of ingredients, but most commonly offer stimulants, such as caffeine, and a variety of herbal extracts purported to increase your metabolic rate.

VPX Meltdown RTD

VPX Meltdown RTD is a fat-burning supplement that comes in a variety of flavors, such as watermelon and exotic fruit. This fat-burning drink contains stimulants, such as caffeine, yohimbine and yerba mate. This supplement is appropriate for low-carbohydrate diets, as it contains no sugar, carbohydrates or calories. According to research, VPX Meltdown may be effective at promoting fat loss. A study published in the December 2008 issue of the "Journal of the International Society of Sports Nutrition" found that Meltdown significantly increases energy expenditure, which leads to increased burning of calories. In addition, the study found Meltdown increased fat oxidation, or fat burning.

SlimQuick Drink Mix

SlimQuick offers a variety of fat-burning supplements targeted specifically to women. SlimQuick Drink Mix is similar to Meltdown RTD in that it contains zero calories and no sugar, so it may be used even on strict, low-calorie diets. The main stimulants in SlimQuick Drink Mix are caffeine, yerba mate and hoodia. In addition, SlimQuick Drink Mix also contains herbal ingredients, such as ginseng, dandelion and green tea extract. According to research from the December 2006 issue of the "Journal of Medicinal Food," green tea extract has a number of health benefits, including increasing weight loss and possibly reducing the risk of cardiovascular disease.

Cytogenix Xenadrine Ultra

Cytogenix Xenadrine Ultra is a drink that contains 5 calories and just 1 gram carbohydrate per serving. This product is sugar-free and contains a number of ingredients that may encourage increased metabolism and fat loss. Among the stimulants included in Cytogenix Xenadrine Ultra are yerba mate, guarana and caffeine. Cytogenix Xenadrine Ultra also contains a number of herbal ingredients, such as damiana. According to Drugs.com, damiana may cause allergic reactions, such as hives, difficulty breathing and the closing of your throat. In addition, Drugs.com notes the FDA has not been approved damiana as safe for use, and suggests you avoid the ingredient if you take medicine to control blood sugar.
